Waivers in PA Program Held at Senior LIFE Washington

On Wednesday, March 25, Senior LIFE Washington hosted a Pennsylvania Link partner-training program titled “Waivers in Pennsylvania.” The training, for social service professionals reviewed various waiver services available to Pennsylvania consumers. Fran Chervenak from Pennsylvania Health Law Project provided an overview. The training also included a presentation from Megan Detwiler, Executive Director of Senior LIFE who presented the Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly (PACE) called LIFE in Pennsylvania. Other presenters included representatives from Aging Waiver, Service Coordination Unlimited, and TRIPIL Services. The training concluded with an inspirational presentation by Emile Etheridge of his “Emile’s Winning Formula”

Michelle Rockwell is the Lead Link Coordinator for Washington, Fayette and Greene, Allegheny and Beaver Counties. The role of the Link is to provide trainings on topics requested by their partner network.
