Senior LIFE Lehigh Valley Welcomes New Physician

Bethlehem, PA — Dr. Brent Nickischer has joined the medical staff at Senior LIFE Lehigh Valley. Senior LIFE is a Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly (PACE). PACE is a national innovative model of care for seniors 55 years of age and older who are eligible for Medicare, and who are in need of health and supportive services to remain living in their home. The program provides an individualized care plan for each participant that includes a multitude of services including physician and nursing care, laboratory work, rehabilitation, prescription medications, social services, adult day care, home care and even transportation — all coordinated by one care team. Services are provided at no cost to eligible participants.

Dr. Nickischer brings a wealth of medical experience in Primary Care and specializes in Internal Medicine. He is experienced in Urgent Care, Occupational Medicine and was a former respiratory therapist. He received his medical degree from Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine and his pre-med education at East Stroudsburg University of Pennsylvania. He completed his residency at St. Luke’s Hospital in Bethlehem. He has been a Clinical Assistant Professor of Medicine at DeSales University for over 10 years instructing physician assistants and nurse practitioners. His medical career has garnered him recognition and awards for “Best of the Valley,” Medical Grand Rounds and Resident Teaching Award.
