Senior LIFE Lehigh Valley Moves to New Location

Bethlehem, Pa. — Senior LIFE Lehigh Valley a Medicare and Medicaid approved long-term care program that provides complete medical care and supportive services for persons 55 years and older, is moving to a new, larger location to better service the seniors in the Lehigh Valley community. The move is expected to be completed by January 2017 with a grand opening event planned for early spring 2017.

Senior LIFE Lehigh Valley opened its doors at its current location, 2045 Westgate Drive, in January 2014 with the goal of keeping seniors in the local communities living independently in their homes. The Senior LIFE Lehigh Valley has experienced tremendous growth in the last two years, growing to 172 current members. The new location at 3365 High Point Boulevard is 25, 725 square feet and will allow for the Senior LIFE services to be extended to more seniors in the Lehigh Valley community. The new Senior LIFE center will feature all new furniture, advanced equipment, larger dayrooms, and additional clinic space and will more than double in size.

The program’s services will continue to be provided at the new location as well as in members’ homes. Designed to allow medically eligible seniors to remain in their homes independently, Senior LIFE provides meals, comprehensive healthcare and therapy services, social and recreational activities, full clinical care, social services and personal care.

To be eligible for Senior LIFE services, seniors must be 55 years of age or older, reside in the designated service area, be determined medically eligible and able to be safely served in their home and community. Senior LIFE’s support services allow caregivers to maintain their personal and professional commitments while securing safe, friendly care for loved ones. There is no cost for the services for those who qualify.
